About The Position

As an I&C Hardware Spare Part Supervisor with Global I&C supporting the Westinghouse Parts Business (WPB), you will support the WPB Product group with a focus on I&C electrical products. Supervise and lead a team of engineers to lead the team to support the hardware design and delivery of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) cabinets and associated electro-mechanical hardware components and subassemblies. Ensure that hardware designs and project documentation meet applicable system & quality requirements. Work closely with manufacturing operations to resolve issues, provide oversight, and ensure products are in accordance with build-to-print drawing packages and specifications. As the supervisor you will be responsible for leading and guiding the team of SRSE engineers to support WPB in the execution of items related to our I&C business. You will report to the Manager, Common Q and CE Safety Systems and be hybrid at the Windsor-Northfield, CT facility.

Requirements

  • Experience with PEGA and WPB
  • Manage a dynamic priorities within the WPB business
  • 10 years + experience in I&C or related products
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team including engineering, testing, manufacturing, supply chain management, and suppliers
  • Ability to lead the engineering team and support issue resolution
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage individual performance of WPB support engineers
  • Manage on time completion of RFQs by engineering
  • Manage on time completion of purchase requisitions by engineering
  • Manage on time completion of PEGA Sales orders by engineering
  • Manage on time completion of QNs by engineering
  • Manage on time completion of CAPS created for repeat failures
  • Lead quarterly alignment meetings with WPB
  • Lead process improvements to support WPB objectives
  • Maintain schedule and priority of items with WPB
