UVA Haymarket Medical Center is seeking a Certified WOC Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of specialized experience in wound and ostomy care to join our Acute Care Services team. This role is ideal for a clinically strong, education-focused nurse who is passionate about improving patient outcomes and supporting frontline teams. The WOC Nurse will provide expert consultation and hands-on support across inpatient units, delivering patient-centered care while serving as a key resource for nursing staff. The Wound Care Specialist Nurse is responsible for achieving standards of care, collaborating with physicians, managers, clinical coordinators, and other team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized patient care in accordance with the current policies and procedures. Responsible for ongoing quality, productivity, and efficiency in Wound Ostomy Care Services.
