This position plans and implements wound care prevention and treatment programs to improve resident skin related outcomes, and collaborates with leaders in the development and revision of clinical policy and procedures. The Wound Care & Clinical Policy Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and assessing training needs of staff and partners with the clinical education team for ongoing education. Validates the competency of staff and serve as a role model for clinical practice. Maintain the Standard of Practice for Nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing’s Social Policy Statement.
