About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The main duties of a Worship Leader are to supervise, develop and direct the many aspects of worship for Midweek services, and Co-lead and direct worship services for various services (Contemporary, Classic, Night of Worship, Student Ministries). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Full-Time: Sunday-Wednesday ● Pray/minister to the church family. ● Socialize with congregants after each service. ● Spiritually lead, disciple, pray, and minister to team members and volunteers. ● Participate in Pastor-on-Call Ministry. ● Provide spiritual guidance/pastoral care; help maintain, organize and promote spiritual weekly activities. ● Create a worship internship/leadership development program. ● Assist in creative planning for special events and services (Christmas, Easter, Holy Spirit Conference, Women’s Conference) ● Identify, develop, disciple leaders and volunteers. ● Lead worship services for Midweek; co-lead weekend services, classic, Student Ministries, and Nights of Worship as scheduled. ● Manage the roster, scheduling, and music selection for all services. ● Organize and facilitate weekly rehearsals. ● Develop, train, mentor and provide leadership to worship teams of Trinity Church. ● Work with service leaders/pastors to assure vision is executed and details are carried out with excellence. ● Communicate and uphold values of Trinity Church and Trinity Worship internally and externally. ● Cultivate songwriting with other staff and worship volunteers. ● Assist with recruiting and evaluation of potential worship team and choir members. ● Call first time visitors to thank them and determine how they can further assimilate at Trinity Church. ● Must be a member of Trinity Church. ● Affirms that Scripture defines the roles of male and female and Romans 1:21-27; Romans 1:24-32 condemns the homosexual lifestyle. Requirements

At minimum, high school diploma; preferably working toward undergrad Biblical degree and/or ministerial certification.
2 yrs exp. serving in a major leadership role within a local church, youth ministry, or similar ministry.
Strong singing voice
Ability to accompany self or others on guitar or piano
Excelled musical proficiency
Solution Oriented
Positive attitude and positive approach to problem solving
Highly self-motivated
Team player with positive, servant motivated attitude
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to independently perform job functions with minimal supervision
Ability to administrate and prioritize workloads, executing

Responsibilities
