About The Position

Adjunct positions are an "Open Pool" for the upcoming Spring 2026 semester. There may or may not be available openings at this time however, when an opening does occur, the hiring manager will draw from the pool of applicants we have on file on an as needed basis. Adjunct Instructor positions are part-time, semester-to-semester, non-benefited MCCC/MTA/DCE unit positions. SALARY RANGE: $1,397 to $1,688 per credit GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES Teaches a range of French courses.

Requirements

• Master of Arts or Master of Arts in Teaching in French or related field
• Demonstrated successful experience working with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds, with a range of academic abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to the community college mission

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of successful experience teaching French courses at the college level
• Evidence of successful teaching experience in a community college
• Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in and outside of the classroom

Responsibilities

• Conducts classes
• Prepares for instruction
• Assesses student performance
• Provides student assistance by appointment
• Attends a limited number of faculty meetings
