About The Position

We are searching for the best talent for World Headquarters Facilities Supervisor to be located in New Brunswick, NJ. This role is essential to the ongoing operation of the Johnson & Johnson World Headquarters Campus and serves as a primary point of contact for facilities support for Executive Committee Admins and Senior Executive leaders on site. The position provides consistent, high‑visibility customer support and plays a key role in maintaining service expectations across a complex, executive‑facing campus environment. The role manages two direct salaried reports and oversees a team of ten unionized Local 630 employees. The position is responsible for setting service standards, managing daily operations, and ensuring strong coordination across facilities functions, with a sustained emphasis on customer experience. Effective leadership in this role is particularly important given the number of VIP stakeholders supported at the World Headquarters location.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in facilities, utilities and maintenance is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral, and written.
  • Demonstrated drive, energy and passion for delivering on Business commitments.
  • Demonstrated record of critical thinking and tactical responsiveness.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Demonstrated customer focus and influencing stakeholders.
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strives for continuous improvement, mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Union facility mechanics, service partners, contractors, and direct report staff.
  • Lead blended team with ultimate responsibility for the 24/7 operational readiness of the WHQ campus.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with VIP customers, key internal and external stakeholders and Facility Services partners.
  • Final responsible for the daily Facility Services support, infrastructure, and utilities at the World Headquarters Campus.
  • Act as the single point of contact with site occupants and stakeholders for the E&PS organization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, environmental guidelines and internal operating procedures processes. Where required participate in inspections and audits. Ensure the team and the team’s activities are audit ready.
  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of business continuity plans, emergency response plans and infrastructure management programs.
  • Develop, support, and manage Facility-related financial plans and maintenance budgets.
  • Establish a culture focused on professionalism and continuous improvement based on KPI’s, benchmarking and sharing best practices between sites and departments.
