The Work Study for Office of Sponsored Programs supports the day-to-day administrative operations of the office by assisting with the processing and tracking of internal award applications. This position helps maintain accurate records, organize the department email inbox, and update spreadsheets and documentation. The student also supports communication with faculty and staff regarding deadlines and requirements and provides general administrative assistance as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with the processing and tracking of Internal Grant Award applications. Assist with organizing the OSPR department email inbox. Maintain organized records and spreadsheets. Supporting communication with faculty and staff regarding deadlines and requirements. Assist with award documentation. WORKING CONDITIONS Work Environment The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled setting. It is well lighted, and the noise level is moderate. Driving Requirements If the employee is required to travel in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position, the use of one’s personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) may be required for travel. Proof of a valid driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is required when driving in the performance of the employee’s position.
