This is a first shift position (Monday - Friday 7:45am - 3:45pm), located at the Lexington Day Program. As the Workshop Supervisor, you will play an important part in the Burton Center mission to develop and discover unlimited potential by evaluating, training, and placing individuals in various jobs in the workshop. Using person-centered support, you will prepare goals and individual objectives, document individual's progress, and implement a quality control program to ensure production of top-quality services. The Lexington Operations team will provide in-depth training to you about how to provide direct care according to individual support plans, drive bus routes as needed to transport individuals, and maintain adequate and quality supplies for the workshop. Serving as a dynamic liaison with local industries, you will maintain and recruit additional contacts that align with the production capabilities of individuals. You will exemplify Burton Center's culture through positive interactions, advocating for individuals, and leading by example within the community. In addition to individual training and industry connections, you will use strong leadership skills to supervise and train a team of Direct Support Professionals involved in providing direct care and support to individuals to become as independent as possible! You will also be responsible for completing monthly progress reports, payroll records, and staff evaluations in an accurate and timely manner.
