About The Position

Provides strategic direction and leadership for the CentraCare workplace violence program including developing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive workplace violence prevention program to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role leads organizational efforts to prevent, identify, respond to, and mitigate risks related to workplace violence, including physical, verbal, and behavioral threats. Collaborates with clinical leaders, security, human resources, employee health, risk management, and legal teams to establish policies, procedures, and reporting mechanisms aligned with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Key responsibilities include overseeing threat assessment processes, coordinating incident response and follow up, managing data tracking and trend analysis, and leading staff education and training programs. Serves as a subject matter expert and program owner, monitoring program effectiveness through metrics and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and early intervention across the organization. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers. Schedule: Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud Day shift | Monday-Friday | 8am-4:30pm Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $68,952 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience Salary range: $68,952 - $103,438.40 per year Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate Full-time benefits : Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required or 2 yr degree in Nursing, Social Work, Healthcare Leadership, Criminal Justice, Community Health or related field and 2-4 yrs experience
  • Has strong skills in project management, data analysis, education/training, Microsoft software, communication, and organizational skills
  • 1 year of experience in Education development
  • 1 year of Workplace violence prevention program management experience
  • 1 year of Presentation/public speaking experience
  • 1 year of Leading and facilitating teamwork
