About The Position

We are seeking a Strategy & Planning Leader to join our Workplace business and lead a team responsible for strategic planning, divisional goal setting, business performance insight, and strategic governance. In this highly visible role, you will partner closely with senior leaders to define priorities, align goals, and support Workplace execution of multi‑year strategic plans. About the Team The Workplace Strategy & Planning team serves as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders across the Workplace division. We are responsible for shaping the division’s strategic agenda, driving annual and multi‑year business planning, establishing and tracking divisional goals, and enabling strong strategic governance. Our team works at the center of Workplace decision‑making—bringing structure to complex problems, aligning leaders around priorities, and ensuring business plans stay on track. We operate in a highly collaborative environment, partnering closely with senior leadership as well as Finance, Product, and other partner functions. The team values analytical rigor, clear storytelling, proactive problem‑solving, and a positive, supportive culture. Team members gain broad visibility across the business, exposure to key strategic initiatives, and opportunities to influence the future direction of the Workplace division.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, corporate planning, business operations, finance, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and executive‑level presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or developing talent.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in strategy consulting or corporate strategy.
  • Experience in asset management, Workplace investing, or retirement services.
  • Proven success working with senior leadership in a fast‑paced, strategic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop a High‑Performing Team Manage, coach, and develop a team of strategy and planning analysts.
  • Set clear expectations and ensure high‑quality, timely strategic deliverables.
  • Build a culture of analytical rigor, collaboration, and executive‑ready communication.
  • Drive Strategic & Business Planning Lead the annual and multi‑year business planning cycles for the Workplace division.
  • Translate enterprise priorities into clear divisional goals and aligned success metrics.
  • Support leaders in tracking progress, identifying gaps, and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Strengthen Strategic Governance & Operating Cadence Oversee strategic governance of Workplace’s business plan and metrics.
  • Track progress against goals, and the associated risks, dependencies, and required decisions.
  • Enhance the operating rhythm that keeps Workplace focused, aligned, and accountable.
  • Partner Across the Organization Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and cross‑functional partners (Finance, HR, etc.).
  • Represent the Strategy & Planning function in divisional and enterprise forums.
  • Contribute to special projects and strategic deep‑dives.
