Job Overview: The Workplace Literacy ESOL Instructor is responsible for providing integrated English language instruction for non-native English speakers. The Workplace Literacy Project at IRC collaborates with Atlanta-area employers to provide instruction to support English Language Learners to improve the productivity of their workforce. The instructor must be able to successfully develop and tailor curriculum and materials to the needs of students enrolled into the program including the support of maintaining employer partnerships, student recruitment, registration, attendance tracking, retention, progress and assessment. This is a part-time non-exempt 18.75 hours per week position, reporting to the IET and Workplace Literacy Supervisor of the Adult Education Program. The course schedule will be established in collaboration with the employer partners and the Adult Education team and will include a combination of on-site and hybrid delivery.
