Position Summary: Direct and manage radiology operations, ensuring exams are accurately completed, documented in PACS, and assigned efficiently to radiologist worklists. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering accountability, engagement, and professional growth. Establish, monitor, and optimize operational metrics and workflows to maintain quality, efficiency, and turnaround time adherence. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on radiology procedures, policies, and technical systems. Collaborate with radiologists, operations, and IT teams to drive seamless workflow integration and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 4+ years of healthcare management experience leading large teams, with preferred experience in radiology or imaging.
- Strong radiology knowledge: exams, procedures, PACS, and worklist management.
- Experience setting metrics, improving workflows, and driving accountability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with radiologists and operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerScribe; strategic thinker adaptable to change.
