UAM, one of twenty campuses of the University of Arkansas System, is located in southeastern Arkansas in the beautiful timberlands, rich in outdoor recreation activities, and approximately 100 miles south of Little Rock. UAM is a comprehensive, residential and commuter, undergraduate institution also offering selected master’s degree programs. Primary duties include teaching a variety of health related undergraduate / nursing technical courses, supervising clinicals, developing and teaching online courses or willingness to learn online teaching requirements, and serve on departmental and University committees. In addition to teaching, the employee will be responsible for advising and registering students; developing instructional and lab activities; clinical coordination, maintaining program and student records; assisting with recruitment, placement, and follow-up; participating in professional development activities; making business and industry contacts; coordinating and supervising internship/practicum assignments, and other duties as assigned. Evening and/or summer hours may be required.
