Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a current non encumbered Arkansas Nursing license
• A minimum of three years of work experience in a hospital setting is required
• Must possess good communication, problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills
• Be willing to obtain occupational-related certifications as deemed necessary

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred
• Teaching experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Primary duties include teaching a variety of health related undergraduate / nursing technical courses
• Supervising clinicals
• Developing and teaching online courses or willingness to learn online teaching requirements
• Serve on departmental and University committees
• Advising and registering students
• Developing instructional and lab activities
• Clinical coordination
• Maintaining program and student records
• Assisting with recruitment, placement, and follow-up
• Participating in professional development activities
• Making business and industry contacts
• Coordinating and supervising internship/practicum assignments
• Other duties as assigned
