About The Position

ACES is looking for a Workforce Development Policy Expert supporting senior-level workforce strategy, policy development, and program oversight for the DoW CIO WID. The candidate will advise leadership, oversee workforce programs, and ensure alignment with DoW CIO priorities. This role requires deep expertise in workforce policy, organizational development, and strategic planning, as well as the ability to coordinate across complex stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of workforce strategies and policies
• Provide senior advisory support to leadership on workforce initiatives
• Coordinate across DoW, IC, and interagency stakeholders
• Oversee workforce development programs and initiatives
• Provide strategic recommendations to improve workforce effectiveness
• Ensure alignment of workforce initiatives with organizational priorities
• Support legislative and policy development activities
• Extensive experience supporting DoW workforce strategy and policy
• Strong leadership and advisory experience
• Deep knowledge of cyber workforce initiatives and frameworks
• Experience working with senior executives and decision-makers
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
