About The Position

The Workforce Development Instructor is responsible for teaching and facilitating curriculum that leads to industry-recognized certifications at Luna Community College. This role is essential for delivering high-quality, market-relevant course offerings to the community.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise and current certification in the relevant subject matter.
• Strong verbal communication and pedagogical skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Sufficient expertise and professional experience necessary to instruct the specific course subject.
• Must hold all necessary credentials required to grant students the eligibility to sit for industry-recognized certification exams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, high-impact instruction that prepares students for industry-recognized certifications.
• Ensure all instructional activities are conducted safely and in strict compliance with LCC and industry-specific specialty standards.
