Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of Workers' Compensation claims experience.
- Possess a valid SIP certification.
- Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- In-depth understanding of Workers' Compensation guidelines and compliance regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and various database management systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a current and comprehensive action plan for all assigned indemnity claims
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the California Labor Code as it applies to workers' compensation claims
- Reviewing billing summaries
- Identifying any signs of fraud and making proper referrals for further investigation
- Pursue subrogation when necessary, and offer superior customer service to all parties involved
- Ensure timely responses to all communications, addressing telephone inquiries
