Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster
About The Position
Our client is looking to expand their Workers' Compensation Department and is seeking to add a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to their operations. The se positions would be responsible for handling W orkers' Compensation Indemnity claims from inception to close. Qualified candidates must possess a strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and statutes. This is a fully remote position and considered Temporary through the end of the year, with the potential of extending into the New Year. Handle moderate to complex Workers' Compensation claims, including litigation, with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager. Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys. Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience handling Lost-time Workers' Compensation claims.
- Need to be well-versed in Workers' Compensation Law.
- License in Home State or Designated Home State
- Experience in one of the following Jurisdictions: AL, AR, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, OK, SC, SD, TN, WI
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
