Work Comp Centralized Scheduling Representatives are energetic individuals with excellent customer service skills. Their responsibility is to respond to incoming calls from referral sources and patients, gather registration information and schedule appointments. Additionally, Work Comp Centralized Scheduling Representatives are responsible for answering questions and inquiries, providing information about our services, and handling positive and negative feedback. Work Comp Centralized Scheduling Representatives report to the Centralized Scheduling Manager. Please note: This position falls under the Workers' Compensation Department and is dedicated to supporting functions related to work-related injury claims, compliance, and case management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year+ of experience with Workers Compensation insurance in a healthcare environment required; experience with outpatient therapy preferred
  • 3-5 years administrative/office experience
  • Open availability, Monday through Friday – 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Raintree EMR
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls from prospective, current, and past patients professionally and responding to their inquiries.
  • Researching required information using available resources.
  • Identifying, escalating priority issues and reporting to the high-level management.
  • Routing inbound calls to the appropriate clinics/personnel.
  • Following up complicated customer calls, when required.
  • Completing call notes and call reports as necessary.
  • Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data
  • Managing administration, communicating, and coordinating with internal departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
