We are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claim Representative II to join our Las Vegas, NV branch. This hybrid position supports a single dedicated client and manages a blended caseload of medical‑only and indemnity Nevada workers’ compensation claims. After initial training, the hybrid schedule includes in‑office days on Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, with the remainder of the week worked remotely. This role handles Nevada jurisdiction only and requires strong communication, time management, and technical claims abilities. A Nevada Workers’ Compensation Adjuster License is required. Please note: This is a claims adjuster role, responsible for full cradle‑to‑grave claim handling. It is not an HR, consulting, or employer‑side administrative position.

Requirements

  • Nevada Workers’ Compensation Adjuster License.
  • Experience managing Nevada lost‑time workers’ compensation claims.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and remain organized in a busy environment.
  • Strong understanding of Nevada WC statutes, timelines, and filing requirements.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a large collaborative team.
  • Reliable, predictable attendance during business hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with presumptive benefits
  • Bachelor’s degree or similar education.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) - highly valued for communicating with claimants, employers, or vendors, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a blended desk of medical‑only and indemnity Nevada workers’ compensation claims
  • Investigate claims, make timely AOE/COE decisions, and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Oversee medical management, coordinate care, and evaluate treatment progress.
  • Communicate proactively with claimants, employers, providers, and attorneys.
  • Establish and adjust reserves within authority levels.
  • Issue timely benefit payments, ensuring accurate calculation of Nevada disability benefits.
  • Direct and manage litigation with defense counsel as needed.
  • Maintain diaries, documentation, and reporting in accordance with CCMSI best practices.
  • Support excess reporting and identify subrogation opportunities as applicable.
  • Deliver clear, timely reporting and communication to the client.
