Performs the work of a general maintenance mechanic work as needed for the Board of Public Education. What you will do Maintains, repairs, and corrects all building components as assigned which may include but are not limited to 1) cubicles installation, relocation, and removal, 2) locker installation, relocation and removal, 3) metal fabrication, 4) fence installation and repairs, 5) tile repairs, 6) masonry related repairs Leads a crew in maintenance, repair and corrections of all building components. Maintains and orders supplies as needed to ensure necessary supplies are consistently available for routine operation, keeps accurate records and reports on work progress to ensure cost efficient department operations. Assists in the training of new personnel and ensures that the necessary equipment and materials are available to complete the work order in order to ensure high quality work. Provides first line of response to facility maintenance needs to assure maximum operational effectiveness of the facility. Provides all required and appropriate documentation.
