About The Position

Acts as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions. Acts as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions including: Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives; Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology; Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices); Translating business requirements into application requirements.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 7 year(s) of relevant experience; or 2 Year College degree and 5 year(s) of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree and 3 year(s) of relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity.
  • Understand and interact with related disciplines to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems and services.
  • Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management including managed services.
  • Experience with managing a budget.
  • Knowledge of Technology Asset Management including IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools and ITIL Change Control management.
  • Performing business analysis to identify gaps, overlaps, inefficiencies, and risk within existing business processes.
  • Create new processes and make recommendations to improve existing.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships.
  • Meet schedules and deadlines of the work including timelines for contract creation and renewals.
