About The Position

As the Workday Platform Technical Product Owner, you will lead Insight’s transition from SAP to a Workday-centric platform. You will architect and drive the technical vision, product strategy, and integration of all Workday modules—including HCM, Financials, Analytics, and Extended Workforce Management—ensuring seamless alignment with complementary tools. Serving as the Workday product expert, you will collaborate with technical leaders and business stakeholders to deliver a unified, scalable, and secure platform. You will define and maintain the long-term roadmap, manage tenant environments, and champion best practices to maximize Workday’s capabilities while minimizing customizations. This hands-on role requires expertise in Workday solution design, documentation, and release management, as well as the ability to resolve technical challenges and guide teams through complex change. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning technical strategy with business goals and realizing the full value of Insight’s Workday investment.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years leading Workday implementations across Core HCM and Core Financials.
  • Deep hands-on experience with ACC, Prism Analytics, Extend, and advanced Workday integrations (Studio, REST/SOAP, Cloud Connect).
  • Proven experience leading major ERP transitions, ideally moving from SAP or similar systems to Workday.
  • Skilled in defining product roadmaps, backlogs, KPIs, and translating business requirements into detailed technical solution designs.
  • Deep understanding of Workday security model (domains, roles, BP security).

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and oversee Workday solutions, integrations, data flows, and multi-tenant strategy (production, sandbox, preview).
  • Maintain long-term technical roadmap for Workday and related enterprise tools.
  • Act as the senior expert on all Workday modules and integrations.
  • Resolve technical issues, ensure best practices, and minimize customizations.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and Enterprise Architecture to ensure platform alignment to business goals.
  • Govern platform changes, ensure security/compliance, and oversee release quality.
