About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant with strong expertise in US and Canada Payroll to support payroll implementation, configuration, and ongoing operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Workday Payroll modules and deep knowledge of North American payroll processes and compliance.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of overall payroll experience with strong exposure to Workday Payroll
  • Proven experience in US and Canada payroll processing
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll compliance, taxation, and statutory requirements.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, and related modules.
  • Experience working in hybrid/on-site environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday Payroll Certification (US/Canada) is a plus.
  • Experience with payroll integrations and third-party vendors.
  • Prior experience in large enterprise or multi-country payroll environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Workday Payroll implementations for US and Canada payroll
  • Configure payroll components including earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
  • Ensure compliance with US federal, state, local and Canada payroll regulations
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and third-party vendors for seamless payroll processing.
  • Handle payroll testing, parallel runs, validation, and go-live support.
  • Troubleshoot payroll issues and provide post-production support.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Support upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives in Workday.
