Learn more at www.stradaglobal.com Strada is currently recruiting for a Workday Consultant - Payroll within our Cloud Optimization Practice area. We have an ever-expanding business pipeline and are seeking suitably skilled and interested candidates to help us build our practice in line with the growth of the Workday ecosystem. As a Workday Functional Consultant, you will play a key role as part of an industry-leading team, helping to drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions within our Professional Services business group. Responsible for ensuring timely and quality execution of client deliverables and consulting with clients on Workday projects independently. Develops solutions to complex problems/projects across multiple domains or clients. Serve as Subject Matter Expert in functional area of expertise and consults on complex projects within a domain.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technical, business, or financial discipline or relevant field of study required.
• 3 to 5 plus years previous experience implementing and/or configuring Workday Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking. Prior experience may include PeopleSoft, SAP, ADP, Oracle E-Business, Ultipro or other SaaS software solutions. However, Workday deployment and/or post-production experience required.
• Previous consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software organization is preferred.
• Possesses strong facilitation/presentation skills.
• Experience in transforming business requirements into complex system configurations.
• Ability to be effectively and actively engaged on multiple, parallel projects.
• Time management and organizational skills are required for success.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize conflicting demands with little supervision.
• Demonstrates strong work ethics, setting an example for others.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Proficient to advanced MS Excel Skills to be used to transform data (advanced formulas).
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• This role does not support sponsorship.
• Workday Payroll certification required.
• If not already a holder of the relevant Workday Certification, successful completion of appropriate Workday Certification(s) is a requirement of the role.

• Certification in multiple functional areas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Independently consults with external clients and participates in all stages of the Workday project lifecycle, from planning and design phases through testing and deployment for Workday HCM and/or Financials application.
• Effectively executes medium to large client deliverables from start to finish across multiple, concurrent projects utilizing Strada’s quality standards and consulting methodology.
• Manages self and work to project scope, timeline and budget. Coordinates with others when applicable.
• Listens to client request, assesses actual client need, provides subjective matter expertise, proposes alternatives, and recommends solution(s).
• Frequently discusses, and can articulate to clients, lessons learned from previous client experience, Workday best practices, as well as Strada's Point of View.
• Provides direction and guidance internally to less experienced colleagues by directing work and reviewing deliverables.
• Participates in or may lead internal business initiatives to assist the organization in building our Strada brand and collateral, including but not limited to internal domain groups, chats and training.
• Participates in building the Strada Brand by participating in Workday ecosystem product groups/chats.
• Serves as Subject Matter Expert in functional/technical area.
• Has specialized and deepened skill set within an area, e.g., such as Absence, Compensation, Benefits, Financials, Payroll etc.
• Creates work estimates for small to large bodies of work.
