About the Job: The Workday Configuration Analyst supports the day‑to‑day operation and ongoing enhancement of the Workday platform across multiple functional areas, including Core HCM, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, and Compensation. This role partners closely with senior team members and stakeholder teams to provide production support, system enhancements, configuration, and data loads in support of both operational needs and active projects. This position offers broad exposure across multiple Workday modules and is an excellent opportunity for a specialist looking to deepen their Workday expertise while supporting a complex, enterprise‑scale environment. What You'll Do: Production Support & Enhancements Provide production support for Workday Core HCM, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, and Compensation modules. Triage, analyze, and resolve incidents and enhancement requests through established intake and ticketing processes. Partner with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions. Ensure timely resolution of issues while meeting defined service‑level expectations. Configuration & System Maintenance Perform Workday configuration changes under guidance, including business process framework updates, condition rules, validations, and calculated fields. Support ongoing system maintenance, including testing and validation of configuration changes. Assist with release activities, regression testing, and post‑release validation. Execute and validate Workday data loads (e.g., EIBs) to support operational needs and project work. Project Support Support Workday‑related projects, including new functionality, enhancements, and process improvements. Participate in requirements gathering, testing, and deployment activities as assigned. Document configuration decisions, processes, and support procedures. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system solutions. Contribute to process improvement efforts that enhance system usability, stability, and efficiency. Maintain a working knowledge of Workday best practices and evolving functionality across supported modules. What Experience You'll Bring: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 2–5 years of hands-on experience supporting Workday or HRIS platforms. Exposure to one or more of the following Workday areas: Core HCM, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, or Compensation. Experience supporting production issues, enhancements, or configuration changes in an enterprise system. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
