Job Summary The Workcell Manager is responsible for the overall operational, financial, and people management of a dedicated business unit (Workcell). This role drives continuous improvement in key operational metrics, maximizes profitability, and ensures exceptional performance against customer expectations. The Workcell Manager acts as the primary link between the Business Unit, Operations, and functional support teams, providing strategic direction and fostering a culture of high performance.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of five years of related experience, with at least one year in a formal supervisory/managerial role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Communication: Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate complex technical, financial, and regulatory documents. Proven ability to effectively present information to top management and external groups.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to calculate figures, amounts (e.g., discounts, proportions, percentages), and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry for financial and operational analysis.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex practical problems and deal with various variables in situations where standardization may be limited.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced PC skills are required, including mastery of standard office tools and an in-depth working knowledge of relevant Jabil software packages.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines. Required accessible to both the production floor and office staff environments.
