Work Study - Custodial Assistant
About The Position
Campus Services is seeking a work study eligible Custodial Assistant. Flexible hours; only late afternoon/evening/weekend work available. Must be able to lift 30lbs. Note: This is a Continuous posting; applications will be reviewed as positions become available. This position is limited to 19 hours per week and accrues 1 hour of non-compensable sick leave for every 40 hours worked. The duties and responsibilities are of a trainee level and may include, but are not limited to, a combination of the following: Cleans various buildings, offices, classrooms, showers, restrooms, windows (exterior/interior) etc. Keeps facilities properly supplied with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other items Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, waxes, and dusts and polishes floors, furniture, and equipment Empties wastebaskets, trash, recycle containers, and ashtrays Sets up and takes down equipment and furnishings for college events Maintains inventory of equipment and products Performs other duties as assigned
