ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A. Receives, verifies, and processes through the computer all materials used for plant additions, retirements, or changes. B. Receives and verifies staking sheets on construction for additions, retirements, and changes against material tickets. Tabulates and enters all units on the computer for continuing property records. Tabulates miles of line from staking sheets. C. Maintains records of inventory on materials and supplies. D. Issues, builds, and maintains work order log and detail of all work order costs on the computer system with RUS coding for classification and financing. Processes unitization and retirement to plant and RUS Form 219 for loan fund requests. E. Performs other duties as assigned or as required by the position. REPORTS TO: Manager of Finance IV. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school with curriculum including mathematics courses required. Accounting courses and/or 5 years of accounting experience required. Computer experience, including PC's, required. One to two years related experience and/or training in work order procedures, line construction materials, and RUS Uniform System of Accounts highly desirable. B. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors and other employees. C. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. D. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. E. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, & REGISTRATIONS: The employee shall possess and maintain current at all times a valid Texas driver's license. F.
