About The Position

Under the supervision of the Michigan Overhead Lines Manager, this position will be responsible for the development and implementation of the testing, repair and purchasing of tools and personal protective grounds and hot-sticks for the Michigan regions. As well as evaluating damaged tools and repair accordingly while working within a managed budget by our customer. Develop and implement a high value tool tracking system and coordinate one-key programs with vendor(s).

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years tool repair and electrical testing
• Must be willing to travel to all regions within the Michigan footprint to conduct field inspections and attend meetings.
• Must be proficient with computer word processing programs
• Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Knowledgeable in electrical tools and repair.
• Must be able to work with outside vendors
• Must be able to work with all employees and present a positive, safe work environment
• Must be able to work in all related ROWs, Stations and Facilities
• A valid driver's license is required.

Nice To Haves

• A certificate of Accreditation from an approved College or University, or equivalent job experience in the building trades is preferred but not required.
