This position directs and coordinates, through the Site Manager, activities related to the production of War Readiness Material assets. The role requires knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures, and the capabilities of personnel, machines, and equipment. The supervisor ensures compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and ISO 9001: Quality Management System (QMS). Key responsibilities include establishing production and quality control standards, developing budget and cost controls, obtaining data on product specifications and delivery, and planning and directing production activities to optimize operations and cost factors. The supervisor will also write and schedule the Site Production Plan, coordinate production with procurement, maintenance, and quality control, and review reports to identify and resolve production and quality issues. Furthermore, the role involves developing and implementing improved operating methods, ensuring data integrity in CMMS and DMS, submitting various production reports, revising schedules due to operational problems, coordinating IT activities for database products and reports, performing site staff process audits, and analyzing metrics to track production status. The supervisor will also configure data from multiple sources, monitor production reports for customers, reconcile supply reports, create and submit the annual Maintenance Control Plan (MCP), coordinate efforts with the Operation Liaison Office, interact with other departments on production issues, and assist in developing and updating Production Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions. Special analyses to improve manufacturing and maintenance processes may also be required.
