Job Summary Oversees prevention / intervention program services. Adheres to NASW Code of Ethics and Texas Code of Conduct for Social Workers and ensures staff and interns adhere to same.Updates supervisor regularly, using sound judgement when issues need to be reported immediately. Serves as leader at CARS , participating in management team meetings, evaluating quality concerns, and providing ideas for improvement. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Program management. Develops program activities. Creates schedule of services and assigned interns / staff. Evaluates effectiveness and adjusts as needed. Ensures program materials, supplies and curriculum are current and stocked. Monitors and approves all changes or additions to the program. Directly provides program services as needed to meet programmatic or grant requirements. Developments partnerships with community partners: Develops and maintains community collaborations needed to fulfill program requirements. Participates in community meetings. Obtains signatures on Memorandums of Understanding from community partners as needed or required. Supervises staff: Ensures the required and ongoing training is completed. Creates schedules and duties; Monitors quality of work, addressing deficiencies in writing. Meets with staff for regular, documented supervision with performance evaluations completed at least every 6 months and as directed by Human Resources. Implement intern training program: Coordinates the intern training program with other social work supervisors. Interviews and selects social work interns that meet the quality and time requirements of each program. Ensures compliance with program, funder(s) and School of Social Work Field Office requirements. Provides regular training and supervision to interns. Helps to plan the weekly intern supervision, overseeing the training and supervision given to all interns assigned to program, regardless of assigned field instructor. Monitors intern activities and attitudes, intervening when indicated. Program Quality Adheres to funder’s contractual compliance. Submits timely and accurate reports to Center Coordinator as outlined by grantor contract and supervisor’s guidelines. Assists in development of and adheres to Quality Management Plan in coordination with Supervisor and QA Specialist. Completes monthly Quality Management reports to monitor progress toward reaching annual Performance Measures. Develops corrective action plan for any measures that fall below goals. Ensures program services are implemented with fidelity. Develops and updates written program procedures. Implements research protocols as directed by Research Associate. Performs other duties assigned.
