Marana Health is seeking a Work Adjustment Trainee- Administrative to join the Behavioral Health team at the Marana Main Health Center, located in the heart of Marana, AZ. All trainees must lack transferable/soft skills necessary to become employed or must need re-training in order to secure employment in the workforce. The Trainee works directly with their Job Coach to learn transferable job skills. Trainee achieves their identified employment objective on the Trainee’s Individual Service Plan (ISP). Marana Health is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC), with 11 sites in Tucson and Pima County. Our mission is to improve our Community by providing exceptional, whole-person healthcare. The following qualifications are required: A High School diploma or GED is preferred. Individuals who do not currently possess a High School diploma or GED may still be accepted into the Work Adjustment Training program. However, successful completion of the program requires obtaining a GED prior to graduation, as this is a condition of program eligibility and advancement. Eligibility for this trainee program is determined through referral and enrollment criteria, which include Title XIX benefits under AHCCCS and clinical eligibility (e.g., SMI, GMH, SUD) as defined by program guidelines. This position has the following supervisory responsibility: No Supervision: Does not direct or supervise others. The ideal candidate will also possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Computer literate (or willing and able to learn necessary computer skills). Duties and Responsibilities: Work under direct supervision of the Environmental Services Job Coach to build workplace readiness and job-specific skills. Learn and apply core administrative and front desk tasks, including client check-in, scheduling, phone etiquette, and customer service procedures. Demonstrate proper use of office equipment such as telephones, copiers, scanners, computers, and scheduling systems. Practice accurate and professional handling of sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA standards. Follow MHC’s administrative protocols, procedures, and standards for front desk and office operations. Engage in active learning and receive constructive feedback during training. Identify and work to overcome personal barriers to employment with support from the Job Coach. Develop professional habits such as punctuality, teamwork, communication, and responsibility. Maintain respectful and appropriate behavior in all professional settings. Report any issues that may interfere with job performance to the Job Coach.
