Job Description: • Formats, types, proofreads, and corrects reports. • Prioritizes workload to meet due dates, including STAT reports and special requests and may provide report completion updates to the team. • Creates CDs of images and formats digital pictures. • Assesses raw data and translates into report form. • May develop or review templates for some special testing. • May revise report templates as needed. • May perform calculations and calculation verification. • Works with QA, Document Control, Order Processing, and other departments as needed. • May provide backup for other positions such as other department Word Processors or Administrative Assistants. • May generate revised report TrackWise records and other investigations as assigned. • Other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Senior Word Processor In addition to the items listed above: Ensures final reports meet the requirements of the protocols and applicable regulations. Assesses raw data and translates into a report form based on the type of data collected. Develops reports for special testing as required. Mentors and trains other Word Processors. Qualifications and Skills Word Processor High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree in business, science, or related discipline preferred. 2-3 years of related experience. Accurate typing/data entry skills; minimum 60 wpm. Knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word and Excel. Knowledge of AdobePro Photoshop preferred. Good command of English grammar, vocabulary, spelling both verbal and written communications. Fluency in English is preferred. Senior Word Processor Associates degree in business, science or related discipline required; Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline preferred; or High school diploma or GED and 3-5 years related experience and demonstrated competencies related to senior level expectations Word Processing or typing certification preferred 2-3 years of scientific reporting experience required, technical writing experience preferred. Accurate typing/data entry skills; minimum 60 wpm. Knowledge of Microsoft Office with expertise using MS Office, specifically Word and Excel. Knowledge of AdobePro Photoshop preferred. Good command of English grammar, vocabulary, spelling both verbal and written communications. Fluency in English is preferred. Technical Competencies Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
