The Women’s Recovery Navigator, will be a self-identified woman in recovery who has maintained a minimum of 2 years sobriety, will deliver comprehensive outreach and engagement services including education, advocacy, coaching and mentorship to pregnant and parenting women choosing to work with a navigator, will have the willingness to share lived experience to help other women in their recovery journey, to act as a “boundary spanner” to link clients to essential community services and to demonstrates “cultural curiosity” and willingness to deliver services in a culturally responsive manner. Working within Adult Services, the Family Recovery Navigator works with our Women’s REACH program staff to provide essential outpatient services to families and adults facing mental health and substance use complexities.
