Women's Residential Monitor Summary: Monitor the care and well-being of the men’s recovery housing and residential treatment residents. We have several openings for Part-Time roles with the potential of moving to Full-Time. Priority will be given to those who have a Chemical Dependency Counseling Assistant. Principal Responsibilities: Monitor and ensure housing residents are receiving the necessary care. Demonstrate patience and tact when dealing with difficult situations and problematic residents. Exchange tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public. Relay information about residents’ condition to the appropriate staff/department. Report pertinent information to management. When working third shift, perform evening safety checks, lock-up of facility, and complete the nightly safety check-off list. Maintain accurate records. Provide crisis interventions and de-escalation techniques. Document and capture case management notes for clients/residents ( weekend positions only ) Establish and maintain clear boundaries with residents. Enforce the resident facility rules to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff. Wash clothes, dishes, and perform general cleaning duties. Transport residents, as needed. Adhere to all organizational and departmental policies and procedures, including compliance with all behavioral, ethical, and client boundary expectations. Provide psychoeducation and complete corresponding documentation to groups of residents (Licensed Monitors Only). Maintain client records according to the organization’s policies and procedures. Maintain organization, Ohio MHAS, and CARF required training. Maintain license or registration appropriate to profession and appropriate to job requirement, including appropriate amount of continuing education at all times of employment. Maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Other duties as assigned.
