Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in Wisconsin and Illinois, is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology team in Belvidere, IL. Mercyhealth’s Mission – “Exceptional health care services with a passion for making lives better.” Touching lives invigorates, inspires and drives us to do our very best, and we continuously look for ways to make each life better with the utmost care and professionalism Opportunity: Provide patient care and education to an assigned caseload of ob/gyn patients in accordance with established WHNP practice guidelines Educate NP, medical and nursing students, as well as resident physicians in women’s health practices. Collaborate with experienced Ob/GYN physicians and certified nurse midwives Hours: 4 days/week, 8a-5p. This is a clinic-based position Our newly constructed $505 million-dollar specialty referral hospital along I-90 in Rockford features a women’s and children’s unit with neonatal and high-risk maternity care. Community Belvidere is a welcoming community located along the scenic Kishwaukee River in northern Illinois. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Women’s Health NP program
Current IL RN license
Current IL APRN license
Current DEA number
Other certifications as required
Previous WHNP experience preferred

Responsibilities
