About The Position

Golden Plains Community Hospital is currently seeking a Director of Women's Center/OB provides the department with the expertise and guidance for quality patient care by providing operational, financial, technical, personnel and strategic planning issues within department. Promotes teamwork with physicians, personnel and other departments. Identifies and provides education and training to staff to meet the special needs of the department's patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing and currently registered in the State of Texas as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BSL, NRP required; PALS preferred.
• Must be able to provide direct and supervised OB/Gyn patient care.
• Demonstrates the ability to perform the technical skills and critical thinking according to standards of care and practice.
• Demonstrates leadership, teaching and management skills.
• Must be familiar with standards of care regarding the department, which is OB/GYN/Women's Center.
• Five years clinical experience with a minimum of three years management/supervisory experience in a hospital based OB/Gyn department preferred.

Nice To Haves

• PALS preferred.
• Five years clinical experience with a minimum of three years management/supervisory experience in a hospital based OB/Gyn department preferred.
