About The Position
Nightingale Home Healthcare is seeking an experienced WOCN-Certified Registered Nurse to provide specialized wound, ostomy, and continence care to patients in the Las Vegas area. This role is ideal for a skilled clinician who is passionate about improving patient outcomes through advanced wound management in the home setting. The WOCN RN provides expert wound, ostomy, and continence assessments and interventions in accordance with physician orders and agency protocols. This role collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement specialized care plans that promote healing, prevent complications, and support patient independence at home.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Nevada RN license
- WOCN Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of wound care experience (home health preferred)
- Proficiency with OASIS documentation
- Current CPR certification
- Current TB test (within 12 months)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to attend orientation at our Las Vegas office
Nice To Haves
- Experience with WellSky (Kinnser) strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive wound and ostomy assessments
- Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans
- Provide negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) management
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention and care techniques
- Complete OASIS assessments accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain compliant documentation in EMR (WellSky/Kinnser preferred)
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
