About Your Role: As a WMS System Administrator at Dollar Tree’s Distribution Center, you’ll be the subject matter expert for our Manhattan WMS, leading system configuration, training, and post-implementation support. You’ll ensure the system meets business needs, train users, and support Inventory Control and DC Operations to maintain smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse and/or system implementation experience
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management, labor management, yard management, and slotting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Project and Change Management experience
  • Ability to motivate and develop team members to achieve organizational goals
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment as well as onsite as required for projects etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Manhattan WMS or similar warehouse management systems
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of leading successful WMS implementations
  • Ability to function as a system and process expert while supporting multiple teams

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the expert in system configuration and application use
  • Travel up to 75% to various Distribution Center locations
  • Reports to home Distribution Center when not traveling
  • Develop build check list
  • Provide “Train the Trainer” education for new and existing users
  • Develop configuration, training documentation, and build checklists
  • Coordinate system updates and maintain system settings post-implementation
  • Ensure a smooth and successful implementation of the Manhattan WMS
  • Participate in data mapping from legacy systems to the new WMS
  • Provide guidance to Inventory Control and DC Operations on system best practices
  • Identify business needs and determine solutions within the WMS
  • Collaborate with the WMS Vendor Team to make implementation and configuration decisions
  • Mentor team members and employees to embrace change
  • Support reporting, troubleshooting, and continuous system improvement
