About The Position

- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm - Responsible for and lead a significant set of deliverables, leveraging advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment - Proactively identify emerging risks in individual and department work and contribute to strategies for mitigating them - Act as a role model and culture carrier; Embody and set an example of the Firm's values and holds yourself and others accountable to Firm standards - Collaborate with Wealth Management Finance, Technology, and Business partners to assist in managing and executing large-scale, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. - Understand new business initiatives and consult with appropriate Finance teams to define strategic approaches, and define deliverables. - Drive continuous improvement of existing Wealth Management Finance systems, data and infrastructure. - Work cross-functionally, partnering with stakeholders while ensuring accountability for deliverables. - Ensure comprehensive documentation of project requirements, design, testing, and implementation processes. - Track and follow up on all project-related issues to ensure timely resolution and ability to anticipate and escalate risks. - Create and deliver presentations to senior management detailing project status, resource allocations, and resource needs. - Leveraging agile methodologies for effective project execution. - Build and maintain strong partnerships across Finance, IT, and other business and product areas to support successful outcomes. - Manage, attract, develop and retain talent for team within Finance while creating an inclusive environment; translate Firmwide goals into actionable goals for department/function. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Requirements

  • Advanced understanding of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment
  • Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and acknowledge efforts of team members
  • Ability to articulate risk and impact to various audiences, and create plans to mitigate those risks
  • In-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment
  • B.A./B.S. in relevant field
  • A high aptitude for numbers and a quick grasp of new applications and technology
  • Must be willing to learn, grow and remain agile
  • Experience working effectively with large data sets, clearly articulating multifaceted results and responding to questions
  • A desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute as a team player
  • Extremely proficient with both MS Office
