About The Position
As a Wine Steward, you will be the in-store expert assisting and educating our customers regarding wine. The individual will deliver remarkable customer service by providing exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude.
Requirements
- Possess a high level of customer service.
- 2+ years of retail experience, preferably working with wine.
- Must have extensive wine knowledge and be able to educate customers and team members.
- Must have passion for continuous learning about the wine industry/trends.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.
Responsibilities
- Interacting directly with customers regarding wine suggestions, comments, and special orders.
- Stocking and merchandising product displays to meet customer demands and to help increase sales.
- Selling effectively through inventory based on current and upcoming ads.
- Staying current on wine industry and working to increase your knowledge of wine.
