About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Windows System Administrator/Azure & AWS Cloud Administrator to support and enhance our enterprise technology infrastructure in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and performance of Windows-based systems, cloud platforms, virtual infrastructure, and virtual desktop environments. The ideal candidate will have proven experience architecting secure solutions, supporting mission-critical systems, and resolving complex technical issues in a timely and effective manner. This position requires a strong technical foundation in Microsoft Windows Server administration, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), VMware, and Omnissa Horizon VDI. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills and a commitment to maintaining secure, stable, and reliable systems that support business and patient-care operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or cloud administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in architecting and supporting secure infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
  • Strong experience supporting and administering VMware environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Omnissa Horizon VDI administration and support.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-resolution skills with the ability to manage complex technical issues.
  • Experience supporting highly available, secure, and business-critical systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a healthcare or other highly regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, identity and access management, and infrastructure security controls.
  • Experience with security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and system compliance initiatives.
  • Scripting or automation experience using PowerShell or similar tools.
  • Relevant technical certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware, or related technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and support enterprise Microsoft Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
  • Manage and support cloud infrastructure and services within Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Architect, implement, and maintain secure infrastructure solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments in alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to support security requirements, user management, and system configuration standards.
  • Administer and support VMware virtual environments, including provisioning, monitoring, maintenance, and performance optimization.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Omnissa Horizon VDI environments, including virtual desktop deployment, end-user access, performance issues, and environment stability.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, system performance, and security posture across servers, cloud environments, virtualization platforms, and VDI systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure, system, and access-related issues while providing timely and effective problem resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis for system incidents and outages and implement corrective actions to reduce recurring issues.
  • Support patching, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes for critical systems and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, security personnel, vendors, and operational stakeholders on technology deployments, upgrades, and system improvements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, system procedures, configurations, and support records.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with healthcare, security, and organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
