Requirements

Proven experience in window installation, preferably in residential settings.
Proficiency in handling and installing various types of glass windows.
Strong knowledge of window hardware, sealing techniques, and insulation methods.
Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used in window installation.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and installation instructions.
Excellent manual dexterity and physical fitness to perform installation tasks.
Detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate measurements and precise installations.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues during installations.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Install various types of windows, in residential homes according to company standards.
Measure, cut, and fit glass panes to ensure precise installation.
Remove old windows and prepare the window openings for new installations.
Seal windows properly to prevent air and water leaks.
Install hardware, such as hinges, locks, and handles, as required.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines throughout the installation process.
Conduct inspections to ensure the integrity and functionality of installed windows.
Identify and address any defects or issues promptly and effectively.
Perform necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail to uphold the company's reputation for quality.
Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Communicate effectively with customers to address their questions, concerns, and preferences regarding window installations.
Provide clear instructions to customers regarding window maintenance and care.
Accurately complete all required paperwork, including work orders, installation reports, and customer feedback forms.
Keep detailed records of installations, materials used, and any customer interactions.
Report issues, or challenges to supervisor or relevant team members in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
