About The Position

The Windows Assembler works under the direction of the Production Supervisor and is responsible for assembly and installation to prepare window components for garage door sections. This includes the use of power tools to install glass paensl and ensuring all components meet quality and safety standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to use hand and power tools, and working efficiently in a fast-paced production environemtn to support overall manfuacturing output. Shift: Monday - Thursday: 7am - 5:30pm At Amarr Garage Doors we strive to be the best. We are seeking safe, efficient, quality-mind individuals to join our Iteam. This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a climate controlled environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic math skills with ability to properly read a tape measure.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • The job requires standing throughout the entire shift. Short distance walking of 5-15 feet on a periodic basis during the shift.
  • The job requires frequent lifting and stacking of banded door panels to various levels. Maximum required individual lifting limit is 45lbs and 50+lbs for team lift.
  • Pushing of carts is often required with occasional pulling; A force of 50lbs is required to move a loaded cart; Pushing over 50 lbs. requires two people.
  • Must be able to grip small objects to cut rubber and maneuver hands/wrists in consistent repetitive motion.

Responsibilities

  • Production of quality material with proper identification and marking of door sections.
  • Load raw EPS foam sheets or pre-cut pieces onto the production line machinery, ensuring proper alignment and feeding for cutting, shaping, or assembly.
  • Monitor machine operations to detect issues like jams, misalignment, or defects in real-time.
  • Inspect EPS products for quality standards and remove or flag sub-standard materials.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production quotas, report any equipment malfunctions, and follow safety protocols.
  • Ensure the working area is safe, clean and organized.
  • Perform any other duties or special projects as assigned.
