About The Position

SAIC is seeking a dedicated and motivated Windows Administrator to join our IT
team. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining, securing, and optimizing
our organization’s Windows-based IT infrastructure. This role is integral to
ensuring the reliability and security of our systems and providing end-user
support to meet organizational needs.

This position is fully remote and can be worked from anywhere in the United
States

Responsibilities

• Support Microsoft Windows servers (Server 2016/2019/2022) in virtualized and physical environments.
• Support issues and requests for Active Directory (including users, groups, policies), and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to maintain uptime and reliability.
• Assist in ongoing activities related to compliance and security audits.
• Provide Tier 2 support for user-related issues involving Windows systems.
• Assist in onboarding new users by managing credentials, permissions, and shared resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support organizational objectives effectively.
