The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows servers and desktops, along with experience in managing Windows and automation. This role involves managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. As a systems engineer on our team, you’ll have the chance to design systems in support of Booz Allen. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize our IT infrastructure. Requirements

  • Experience with Windows Server OS 2022, VMware, vSphere 8, Active Directory Domain Services, or Group Policy
  • Experience managing Windows, including server setup, deployment, and maintenance
  • Experience designing server rooms, including servers, networking, and storage
  • Experience with networking troubleshooting
  • Experience utilizing Group Policy for hardening servers and endpoints in accordance with vulnerability and compliance baselines such as SCAP, STIG, and Nessus
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced communicating clearly and effectively with users and stakeholders in both virtual and in‑person setting
  • Experience troubleshooting web application support in authoring and maintaining technical documentation
  • Experience with tools such as Splunk and Trellix/McAfee, ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), and Domain Controller technologies
  • Experience with Shell scripting or PowerShell and automation tools
  • Ability to conduct independent research and apply solutions
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
