Summary/Objective The Window Inside Sales Representative assists customers in selecting the right product for their project. The representative cultivates excellent working relationships with existing customers while developing and adding new clients to his/her book of business. This role promotes the products we sell, while delivering excellent customer service to our customers, which includes homeowners, builders, contractors, and architects, among others. This role plays an important part in the success of ourpany and as such requires excellent closing skills.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of four years of experience or demonstrated kledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above.
  • Technical andputer skills
  • Basic mathematical and measurement skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blue measurements.
  • Experience with popular window brands, including Anderson and Marvin.
  • Excellent written and oralmunication skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Proactive planning and time management skills are required.
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new systems and concepts quickly.
  • Product kledge and relationship-building skills.
  • Working kledge of the construction industry with window product kledge and home building requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in finding the right product that best suits their needs.
  • Works with architects, designers, and builders to source the right product for their projects and provide them with timely quotes.
  • Closes sales promptly while maintaining a high profit margin and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Assist other team members with quotes and sourcing of products.
  • Secures window orders and processes them correctly.
  • Ensure that necessary changes or corrections are submitted in a timely fashion.
  • Negotiates terms, pricing, and delivery with window vendors.
  • Places window orders from approved vendors and maintains accurate records.
  • Looks for opportunities to negotiate favorable purchasing terms.
  • Arranges for the return and credit of defective products.
  • Assist other associates with questions on products and orders.
  • Ads topany policies, processes, and procedures.
