About The Position

The Wildhorse Golf Grill Server is responsible for providing efficient and personable service to guests, including taking beverage orders, serving, and ensuring an overall positive dining experience. This role emphasizes exemplary guest service, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment. The server is expected to display a positive attitude, work as part of a team, and keep the Supervisor informed of any guest feedback or concerns. Adherence to regulatory laws, company policies, and safety codes is also required.

Requirements

  • Three (3) months of food and customer service experience.
  • Three (3) months of cash handling experience.
  • Need to stand and or walk for long periods; needs to perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; and needs to bend, lift and maneuver 25 lbs.
  • Effective communication skills - Needs to read, verbally provide instruction, respond to questions, and has exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  • Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment, with permit application submitted by first day of employment.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
  • Greets and acknowledges guests entering the restaurant and/or seated in the assigned service area.
  • Promptly offers beverage service and other amenities to guests.
  • Provides alcohol service and collects payment.
  • Provides attentive service throughout guest’s meals, graciously serving, and refilling beverages and condiments.
  • Maintains area for cleanliness by promptly removing dishes, wiping off chairs, tables, and high/booster chairs, and resetting tables in a quick and timely manner.
  • Displays and promotes a positive attitude and willingness to be a part of the team including assisting others as needed.
  • Keeps the Supervisor apprised of any customer concerns or positive remarks.
  • Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to Supervisor.
  • Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
  • Complies with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  • Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
