About The Position

This position reports directly to the Wilderness Coordinator, Evan Troxel. This is a seasonal position available during the summer camp season. Under the supervision of the Wilderness Coordinator, program staff organize and assist in summer camp activities. Every summer program staff member will be trained in all areas. This position will primarily be working at the Wilderness Camp located in Frazeysburg, OH. If needed, this position will assist with main camp (Lakeville, Ohio) duties as well.

Requirements

Must be 16 years old or have graduated high school.
This certification must be completed by June 5
Commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and willingness to mature and grow as a Christian
Round Lake Christian Camp is owned and operated by the Independent Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. The Camp prefers that applicants have roots to this Brotherhood.
Capable of taking and following instructions: responding well to leadership.
Good self-concept reflected in appearance, behavior and relationships with others.
Use of alcoholic beverages, tobacco and non-prescription drugs is prohibited for all summer staff including their time off.

Additionally, Program Staff may train summer volunteers to lead the following activities: canoeing, nature hikes, crafts, tetherball, 4 & 9 square, carpet ball, pottery, hover-ball, special field games, etc.
